Project Description:
This is a statewide program that covers the areas of training, services, and information dissemination. In-service trainings, on-site consultations, as well as technical assistance are available through educational strategists. Interdisciplinary diagnostic services are available both on the eastern side of the state and the western side of the state. A follow-up on-site consultation is built into the cost of the diagnostic evaluation for those individuals who qualify.
A vast array of resources is disseminated through this program. This includes a FASD Newsletter; FAS Handbook; FASD Education Strategy Handbook; DVDs, books, curriculums, videos, etc. are available for no cost through a check-out system at the Wegner Health Science Information Center of which the Center for Disabilities is a partner. In addition to the website, the program also supports Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube sites.
