Project Description:
JFK Partners and a coalition of Denver-area agencies are determined to establish Project One Stop for Families, a multi-purpose center responding to family-identified needs and maximizing existing resources. The proposed Project One Stop for Families is a historic opportunity to build on self-determination and create a viable system that responds to family-driven needs and outcomes, incorporating family support to help families succeed and overcome barriers such as chronic poverty, unemployment and reliance on public assistance. Denver was selected for services with this funding based on the communities high percentage of people with disabilities, high poverty rates, and availability of community resources to address target population needs.
