Studying the Impact of Service Learning on Career Development, Self-Determination and Social Building for Youth with Autism
Project Description:
- Train staff from intervention sites (eitehr via webinar or in-person) as needed regarding the unique needs of youth with autism as they relate to the study.
- Review and edit project publications,k specifically to parents and youth adults with autism as well as and professionals in teh field autism regarding project findings.
- Participate in teh development of replication materials to be used in other communities on building service experiences for individuals with autism.
- Share information with the network for Centers of Autism and otehr related disabilities.
- Consult to ICI on most accessible method to implement Project Impact.
- Participate in the project's advisory team.
- Review quarterly data provided by project leader of completed activities for ICI as defined by MCHB.
- Participate in monthly project management team calls.
- Participate in monthly technical assistance and support calls for site liaisons during intervention implementation.
