Project Description:
The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric (DBP) Fellowship Program has the goal to expand training capacity in developmental-behavioral pediatrics and to serve as an exemplary national training program with the intent of providing leaders in DBP in Oklahoma and the surrounding region who can address DBP issues in rural areas. Objectives of the DBP Fellowship Program include the following: 1) to train one trainee each year in developmental-behavioral pediatrics; 2) to train pediatric residents in developmental-behavioral pediatrics; and 3) to provide quality improvement and continuing medical education initiatives to practicing primary care pediatricians across the state in the area of developmental-behavioral pediatrics.
