The Sonoran UCEDD received a contract to review the Principles of Caregiving curriculum (the AZ direct care worker training and testing program) which includes the following components: <br> <br> I. Caregiving Fundamentals 2011 <br> II. Aging/Physical Disabilities Module 2011 <br> III. Developmental Disabilities Module 2011, including Facilitator Guides <br> IV. Skills Workbook, including notes for the instructor>br> V. Competencies for these modules<br> VI. Standardized tests for these modules<br> <br> The work comprises the following: <br> 1. Reviewing the curriculum and proposing revisions to make sure it is sufficient to address the competencies of Direct Care Workers. <br> 2. Reviewing the standardized written tests and proposing revisions to make sure they are sufficient to test the competencies of Direct Care Workers.<br> 3. Reviewing the curriculum and proposing revisions to ensure there is consistency with language, terms, format, and so forth.<br> 4. Create alternative tests.
