Center:
Fiscal Year:
2012
Contact Information:
Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to recruit and train graduate Social Work students for a two-year field placement at the Franklin County Board of DD Service Coordination Department and the OSU Nisonger Center. Specifically, we are providing systematic experiences in disabilities and Soical Work so that these students will be prepared for service support administrative positions with the Franklin County Board of DD upon completion of their degree. This is a nationally unique program in that students receive a stipend for both years of their field placement as well as tuition assistance. Upon graduation and assuming they have performed well, these trainees become eligible for employment with the County Board of DD.
