Project Description:
The Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas, in partnership with the Beach Center on Disability, proposes to prepare five national leaders with a Ph.D. through the Family-Professional Partnership Enhancement Program (FPPE Program). The FPPE Program focuses on non-categorical leadership in teacher education related to family-professional partnerships. The co-PIs are Dr. Ann Turnbull and Prof. Rud Turnbull. Eighty-two percent of the budget will directly support trainees via stipends, tuition, and travel support.
