SOCIAL - Road to Independence
Project Description:
Young adults with mild intellectual delays, as well as those with high-functioning autism, often aspire to become more independent and acquire a drivers license. This program provides training so that participants will be able to successfully obtain their temporary drivers permit. The program uses group learning approaches and repetition over the course of 8 hour-long sessions.
