SCEIs Statewide BCW In-Service Training Evaluation
Project Description:
A statewide system of in-service training has provided approximately 550 workshops ot over 5,000 professionals and paraprofessionals. This training system requires a comprehensive evaluation process to determine its effectiveness. Evaluation of the SCEIs early intervention training system, consisting of six modules: typical/atypical development, family systems, assessment, planning, program implementation, team process, & professional development. Semi-annual summary reports profile each training, module, and trainer relative to satisfaction and achievement of outcomes. The quality of early intervention services improves as professional and paraprofessional personnel receive effective, quality in-service training.
