Project Description:
1. Need: Wyoming has measured consumer staisfaction through mail out surveys to parents or key contacts of adults and preschool aged children with disabilities. While useful, this information did not provide an adequate basis for dtermining the quality of service delivered. To improve the quality of the data, Wyoming joined HSRI in the National Core Indicator Project. 2. Goals: The goal of the Core Indicator Project is to gather quality indicators that are consistent across all participating States. 3. Features: Data are derived from in-person interviews with adults with developmental disabilities. 4. Benefits: Consistent indicators of quality from all participating States. 5. Project also includes consumer satisfaction with developmental preschool services, Acquired Brain Injury waiver services, and Children's Waiver Services.
