Reducing Behavioral Health Disparities in Rural Primary Care
Project Description:
The Nebraska UCEDD will collaborate in the development and implementation of a behavioral health program for rural residents of East Central Nebraska counties of Boone, Colfax, Platte, and Nance.
The UCEDD's Behavioral Health training program will provide faculty, post-doctoral fellow, and trainee support to the Good Neighbor Community Health Center of Columbus Nebraska (GNCHC)for outpatient services and supervision of provisionally licensed mental health practitioners and students. The MMI also intends to participate, with the GNCHC, by providing interdisciplinary evaluation services to the Boys and Girls Homes of Nebraska diagnostic program.
