Study VI Data Report: Training And Technical Assistance Survey Of State Part C Coordinators. Information presented in this report is based on findings of an investigation of Part C training and technical assistance systems. Part C state representative from states and territories were contacted in the Fall of 2006 and Spring of 2007 and asked questions relative to their training and technical assistance programs. The results from the survey are presented in this report. Results indicated that activities and organizational structures vary widely across states. Systems tend to be accessible throughout the states and target multiple disciplines. The most commonly offered training topics included: federal regulations and agency specific policies and procedures, transition, inclusion, child and family outcome measurements, and the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act.
