Product Description:

This chapter presents an overview of the development and future of the Indiana Disproportionality Committee, a grassroots effort examining inequity in systems that serve children and families across the state. Exploration of relationships between ethnicity, risk factors, and treatment outcomes for youth in foster and residential care led the IDC to identify needs for system change within the state. Barriers and successes of the IDC efforts are shared to guide others in their own strategies to reduce disproportionality.
