Data Report: Parental Perceptions of Child Behavior, Attachment and Well Being for Children Adopted from China
Product Description:
The objectives of the study Parental Perceptions of Child Behavior, Attachment and Well Being for Children Adopted from China are to gather, synthesize, and analyze information about the development of children adopted from China and the experiences of their adoptive parents. This information will comprise one of the few databases in North America to document the strengths, needs, and concerns of this growing population of families, who adopt a child from
China. Potential benefits of creating this database are: 1) to provide information to families who have adopted or wish to adopt a child who seek knowledge of the experiences of other adoptive families; and 2) to inform personnel who work with families and seek the knowledge necessary to collaborate more effectively and provide culturally competent services to families who have adopted a child from China.
