This issue of The Inclusion Notebook (TIN) focuses on the topic of assistive technology in special education. We have included an article on the evaluation process as well as an article on transitioning a student from public school who relies on technology to achieve in high school to the college settings. Our pull-out section focuses on obtaining the necessary documentation to access accommodations in the postsecondary educational setting and includes a check list to guide students, parents and professionals through the process. Finally, our Q & A section addresses the types of assistive technology most commonly used in the school setting.
