Product Description:

The UO UCEDD, and Birth to Three, a nationally recognized community parenting organization, and EC-CARES, the county early intervention provider, have developed a parenting curriculum for parents of young children with disabilities. This parenting guide or curriculum, Words to Love By, contains core parenting concepts and affirmations for parents in the form of a set of 52 cards and an accompanying User?s Guide. The curriculum, in the form of two-sided cards that can be downloaded, has been disseminated on the UCEDD website, as well as by Birth to Three. Parents indicated high satisfaction with the cards and parenting suggestions; providers felt that the User's Guide was helpful in providing suggestions for use with parents of young children with and without disabilities.
