Product Description:
The TIES Program provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, community-based services to pregnant and postpartum women and their families affected by substance abuse or HIV, with funding from HHS under Abandoned Infants Assistance Act and matching funds from Jackson County Community Backed Anti-drug Tax (COMBAT). The TIES Program is operated through Childrens Mercy Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri, with advisement from 10 human service agencies in the TIES Community Consortium and 14 leaders in the TIES Advisory Council. This report describes the 123 families that the TIES Program served between September 30, 2009 and September 29, 2013.
