The Michigan Developmental Disabilities Institute (MI-DDI) has partnered with the Wayne State Institute of Gerontology to create an exciting new training opportunity. We are pleased to announce the launch of our free training, Understanding Healthcare Disparities of People with Disabilities: A Focus on Aging with Disabilities in Communities of Color. This engaging and informative training is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to deepen their understanding and improve their practice when working with aging patients with disabilities from communities of color.
We are pleased to offer 1.25 CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits for this training. We are also in the process of obtaining CE (Continuing Education) credits for social workers — stay tuned for updates!
