Location: Zoom
Format: Virtual
In times like these—when the world feels heavy, the future feels uncertain, and professional and personal pressures are mounting—it's more important than ever to pause and protect our mental health. Many of us are navigating fear, stress, or even burnout as we face shifting landscapes, including legislation that will deeply impact the communities we serve and care about. This coffee chat is a space to breathe, reflect, and connect. We’ll talk about how we’re really doing, share strategies for protecting our peace, and remind each other that we’re not alone in these challenges. Together, over a warm cup, we’ll explore how to care for our mental well-being—even when everything around us feels unsteady. Please join us for our July Coffee Chat as we discuss the topic of protecting your mental health during a time when many things may feel uncertain.
Here are some questions to consider in preparation for our upcoming chat:
Hosted by AUCD’s Community Education and Dissemination Council (CEDC). You do not need to be a member of this council to participate, Coffee Chats are open to anyone and everyone! Please remember, this is your conversation so please feel free to bring up something we didn’t identify. Coffee Chats are not recorded due wanting to create a conversation feel versus a didactic/presentation feel.
The vision for Coffee Chat is for people to come together to share cool things you are doing and get ideas for things you may want to start or implement into your respective settings. There will be identified topics each month that will be the focus of the Coffee Chat. Informal format so please feel free to drop in and out as you are able!
If you have any questions, or have a topic you would like to see on the schedule, please reach out ([email protected]). We are always looking for upcoming topics!
