Anna Costalas, MPA

Anna participates in the planning, preparation and dissemination of public information as well as support and assist in carrying out a range of technical assistance activities, including training staff in selected online services to support AUCD central office teams. This position is a key coordinator of the range of training and information dissemination activities of the organization to further the mission and goals of all members of the AUCD network and central office.

Anna brings over fifteen years of experience in community outreach for underrepresented communities, including working as the Program Coordinator for the Rochester Institute of Technology Women's Center violence prevention efforts funded by DOJ; Communications and Development Coordinator for The Advocacy Center, a Parent Training and Information Center also in Rochester, NY, and most recently the Information and Resource Manager at the parent-run Support for Families of Children with Disabilities in San Francisco, CA.

She received a Master of Public Administration degree from the State University of New York, The College at Brockport, where she focused on non-profit management, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Photo from Rochester Institute of Technology.
