Sharon  Romelczyk, MPA

Sharon Romelczyk provides technical assistance to the sixteen CDC Disability and Health Grantees under the AUCD-CDC Cooperative Agreement with the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD). Additionally, she supports overall efforts of the Cooperative Agreement including the Research Topics of Interest (RTOI) competitions, CDC Fellowship and Collaborative Research Awards. Her most recent work experience with the CDC Disability and Health Grantees has been through her position as a Research Assistant at Delaware's Center for Disabilities Studies.

Sharon has enjoyed working for several programs to support independence and healthy lifestyles for individuals with disabilities at organizations including Easter Seals Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore, The Arc of Hunterdon, and The Citizen Advocacy Program. Sharon has a BA in Applied Sociology from Rowan University and a Masters degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Disabilities and Health Leadership.
