Dawn Rudolph, MSEd

Dawn leads AUCD's Technical Assistance team in providing support to the national network of University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs) and the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other Disabilities (LEND) programs, and leveraging the expertise of the UCEDD network to inform national efforts impacting people with disabilities. She coordinates technical assistance on UCEDD & LEND grant administration, operations, impact, partnership and collaboration, leadership and succession planning, and emerging trends in the disability field. Dawn also leads the ADA International Fellowship program.

Dawn brings 28 years experience working with people with disabilities and their families in community and educational settings. Immediately before joining the AUCD team, Dawn served as Service Coordination Administrator in the District of Columbia, where she oversaw coordination of all community-based services provided by the Developmental Disabilities Administration. Prior to that, Dawn served the disability community for six years as a community living program director for non-profit provider organizations. Earlier work includes supporting children, adults, and families in roles of family therapist specializing in families whose young children were first diagnosed with developmental disabilities or special health care needs, early intervention teacher, and direct support professional. Dawn brings significant service, training, management, administration, and leadership experience in non-profit and government sectors dedicated to improving quality of life for people with disabilities.

Dawn holds a BS in Special Education from Gwynedd-Mercy College, and an MSEd in Psychological Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
