Restraint and Seclusion
AUCD advocates for legislation that aims to reduce and prevent the use of restraint, seclusion and other aversive behavioral interventions for students with disabilities and increase the use of positive behavioral supports.

Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment
AUCD advocates for legislation aimed at preventing the abuse and neglect of children with disabilities. AUCD works on the reauthorization of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) and advocates for the funding of CAPTA programs.
