BlueLaw International LLP (www.bluelawinternational.com) is currently seeking Haitian nationals for a long-term position as a Program Director supporting USAID's Rehabilitation and Reintegration for Persons with Disabilities program. The Program Director will be leading an effort which will provide technical assistance to the Government of Haiti's (GoH) Ministries of Health and Social Affairs to help develop clear guidelines, standards, accreditation, and monitoring procedures to promote greater inclusion of persons with disabilities in all aspects of reconstruction and development. Specifically, the Program Director will be implementing capacity building activities that address strengthening central and departmental structures of the Ministries listed above.


Minimum qualifications are as follows:

  • Master's Degree in Social Sciences or areas directly related to providing services to persons with disabilities
  • At least seven years of experience implementing and managing donor-funded projects in developing countries
  • At least five years of experience in advocacy and/or service provision for persons with disabilities preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles, promoting strategic planning, and careful budget management
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills in English and French are required; addition of Creole preferred
