The incumbent in this position functions as an integral member of the Successful Life Project providing advanced assessment and clinical consultation for Therapeutic Follow-up Members. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Analyst 3 (BA3) provides advanced behavioral assessment and with the person's team develops person-centered positive behavior support plans. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Analyst 3 also provides associated training, in support of clinically complex individuals and their staff within DHS Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) programs and in the private provider community within the scope of the Successful Life Project. The position works collaboratively with mental health professionals, medical professionals, therapists, staff, families, and other stakeholders in assessment, intervention development, training, and evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications:
The incumbent must have NADD-CC certification or be Board Certified in Behavior Analysis or BCBA-eligible through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board AND at least 2 years of related professional experience providing behavioral assessments.

This experience must demonstrate:

  • A thorough understanding of Positive Behavior Supports and Person-Centered Thinking.
  • The ability to be sensitive to and respectful of cultural and other differences when carrying out job responsibilities and in interacting with coworkers, individuals, and other customers.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota driver's license.
