Job Description
Developmental Disability Consultants, P.C. is an established, private mental health group which has specialized in children and adults with developmental disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury and other neuro-diverse conditions for more than 20 years. We are seeking an energetic, experienced, and highly organized clinician who is licensed or license-eligible in Colorado as a clinical social worker (LCSW) to manage our clinical and program services to children and families challenged by intellectual disabilities and/or neurobehavioral disorders such as autism. Experience with, and broad knowledge of, persons with developmental disabilities is required. Post-graduate training from a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) is preferred. Clinical responsibilities include individual, group and family assessment and psychotherapy; parenting assessment, education and skills training; staff training and consultation with service providers. Knowledge and experience with evidence-based, solution-focused interventions is important, and a behavioral or cognitive-behavioral orientation is preferred. Clinic, home and community-based services are provided, so some travel is required. Other duties include program development and clinical supervision of interns and candidates for licensure. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits included.
