The Center for Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE) at Utah State University is seeking a Program Specialist/Associate Director. This person will work closely with the TAESE director to provide leadership for TAESE and special education technical assistance and professional development to assigned client State education agencies and local education agencies across 20 States. The selected candidate must have good communication, facilitation, and people skills, and be willing to travel as needed.

Requirements include a master's degree or higher in special education or a related field, good technology skills, working knowledge of IDEA and other special education laws, and experience working with or for State/local education agencies. Preferred candidates will have experience providing technical assistance and professional development in all areas of special education including the SPP, APR, and SSIP. This is a fiscal year based (12-months per year) position with full benefits.
