The Department of Disability and Human Development, University of Illinois at Chicago, is seeking applications for a tenured senior faculty position available for the Academic Year 2016-17. We seek a candidate who can sustain an independent research program on health disparities for and/or health promotion with people with disabilities as well as participate in teaching and service. Preferred candidates should have a demonstrated track record in extramural funding with expertise in translational research with disability and/or aging populations. This position is part of a 5-year interdisciplinary cluster hire entitled "Health Promotion for Racially and Ethnically Diverse Older Adults" and includes membership in the Center for Research on Health and Aging. The search will remain open until this position is filled. Applicants are asked to submit a description of past research and future plans, curriculum vitae, and the names of three potential references.
