AUCD-ESPA Mini-Grant Recipients Announced

AUCD is pleased to announce the recipients of three AUCD-ESPA Mini-Grants. ESPA (Easter Seals Project ACTION (Accessible Community Transportation in Our Nation)), has offered this opportunity to undergraduate or graduate students in the AUCD network of LEND and UCEDD programs. Mini-grant recipients will produce a product such as a report or literature review on a topic of significance related to public transportation from the disability community perspective. The product will address issues related to transportation challenges that people with disabilities encounter in their communities.

2007 Mini-Grant Recipients

• Ashley Speliotis, Institute for Community Inclusion, Children's Hospital at Boston

• Bryony Olley, New Hampshire Institute on Disability LEND Program
• Terri Glen, Institute for Human Development at the University of Missouri-Kansas City
