2009 NSIP Grantees Announced

AUCD and the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) in Boston are pleased to announce two new NSIP grantees to improve in recruitment of people with disabilities, conduct outreach with economically distressed areas with a focus on National Service as a gateway to employment and/or post secondary education, and to increase access and opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities in partnership with their respective State Commissions or CNCS State Offices, local National Service program(s), and local disability service providers:

  • Maine-University of Maine Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies
    • PI: Janet May
  • Vermont- University of Vermont Center on Disability and Community Inclusion
    • PI: Bryan Dague
