2007 Presentation Formats

The AUCD Annual Meeting includes a variety of presentation formats.

Concurrent Sessions

Concurrent Sessions are 60- to 90-minute sessions by a single presenter or a panel. There will be at least four different time slots for concurrent sessions. These sessions will be offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the Conference.

All rooms will be set up in theatre style. The following are included standard in each room:

LCD projector
Screen
One podium microphone
Overhead projector

Additional A/V must be requested and must be paid for by the presenter.

Poster Session

The poster session will last for approximately 3 hours. There is a $75.00 fee for each poster board.

Each poster will be provided with the following:

one tabletop space of approximately 3' deep x 6' long, with a light gold tablecloth
one 8' wide x 4' tall (from the top of the table) poster board behind the table. The board is dark grey and allows for pushpins, t-pins, tape, and velcro attachments

Any A/V must be requested and must be paid for by the presenter. Please follow this guideline carefully when designing your poster. If you require more than one poster board for your display, please contact Paula Hirt at [email protected]. Keep space limitations in mind when planning A/V use.

Submission Requirements

Individuals who desire to submit a proposal for a concurrent session and/or poster must complete the form and follow all requirements outlined on the AUCD website. Additional A/V must also be ordered on the AUCD website with the submission form.

Accessibility Guidelines

Presenters are asked to follow all accessibility guidelines when designing and presenting at the AUCD Annual Meeting. Accessibility guidelines are outlined on the AUCD website. Accessibility will be a part of the evaluation of all presentations.
