Shipping to the Hotel

 

Shipping to the Hotel? Follow these steps.

  1. Plan your shipping schedule so materials do not arrive more than 3 business days before your anticipated arrival date.
  2. Ship materials directly to the hotel using the carrier of your choice. (Check with your shipping carrier and the hotel about weekend delivery and plan accordingly.)
  3. Download this label to use when addressing your package.
    1. Insert your name
    2. Insert the date of your arrival
    3. Insert the appropriate numbers into "package ___ of ___"
  4. Your package(s) will be held for you by the hotel via the FedEx office on the Ballroom Level of the hotel. A message will be left on your hotel room's phone letting you know that the package has arrived and giving instructions for picking it up.
  5. Bring your TRACKING NUMBER with you to the conference should there be any problems.

Shipping and Receiving charges may be incurred on all packages according to the hotel's policy.

AUCD cannot be responsible for any items shipped to the hotel.

Shipping Your Poster

  • All posters ordered through MakeSigns.com and shipped as a group will be held at the MakeSigns.com warehouse and shipped together to DC on approximately November 12, so they arrive at the hotel when you do.
  • Your poster will be held behind the AUCD registration desk. When you pick up your conference namebadge or when you are ready to present your poster, simply ask at conference registration for your pre-printed poster.
  • (Note: you are responsible for arranging for return shipping of your poster.)
