Cancellation / Refund / Change Policy

Cancellation, refund, and change requests must be made in writing thirty days in advance of the start of the event. A refund of the registration fee, minus a $90 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. Submit all requests to Gwen Clark via email. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions or transfers are gladly accepted. AUCD reserves the right to review and select to refund registration fees as it deems appropriate.

    Transfer Policy

To transfer your full registration prior to the event, the already-registered individual must submit a written request to AUCD . Only one transfer is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. We understand not all requests can be made in advance of the event; requests made at the event must still include a properly signed request from the original registrant. E-mail Gwen at [email protected] to request a transfer of your registration, or with questions about the transfer policy.

    Group Registrations

Group Registrations: For member UCEDD, IDDRC, and LEND program personnel and trainees, after the first five registrations from the same center using the dropdown menu provided, the sixth and subsequent will automatically receive 20% discounts off the base registration fee. Individuals from the same Center do not need to register together to be eligible for the discount. Only those registrants selecting their AUCD Member Center from the dropdown list will count toward the discount.

    Scholarships

For information on available event scholarships, see the Scholarships tab at left (available September 2019).

All attendees who are in need of accessibility accommodations (interpreters, large print, braille, etc) must note this on their registration form or contact Jen Tuell via email within 30 days of the event. We cannot guarantee accommodations for requests received with less than 30 days-notice.

    Consent to Use of Images

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, this event constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees' image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by the event organizers and other third parties, including but not limited the venue, the host city, and the host convention and visitors bureau.
