Description

In this session we will provide a description of a weight loss program adapted for youth with intellectual disabilities (ID). Health U. is a family-based program that includes nutrition education for youth and their parents and training on supportive behavioral techniques for parents to learn strategies to promote new dietary and physical activity habits designed to result in gradual weight loss.
