Description

Self-directed supports is a program in which people with disabilities, their families, and their allies directly manage their supports. People participating in New York State's self-direction plan were surveyed about their plans for sustaining self-direction across the lifespan. In this session, the panel will share background information about self-direction, themes from the findings of the survey, and practical implications for supporting the sustainability of self-directed supports across the lifespan.
