Description

Self-directed supports is a program in which people with disabilities, their families, and their allies directly manage their supports. People participating in New York State's self-direction plan were surveyed about their experiences with the impacts of COVID-19 on self-direction and lessons learned about emergency preparedness. This poster will present the themes that emerged from the findings of the survey, and implications for disaster preparedness for people who self-direct their services.
