This program presents a brief training to build cultural competency in providers? knowledge, awareness, sensitivity, and skills in serving African American families affected by Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs). The workshop is designed to readily integrate into existing training curricula and emphasize active participant engagement.
