African American Symposium on Disabilities

2015 Pre-EHDI LEND Workshop

LEND audiology trainees and faculty are invited to take a deep dive into Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) policy. Trainees will learn about the basis for EHDI legislation, identify and discuss key issues that lawmakers are currently being asked to consider, and work in teams to develop effective advocacy strategies. There will be special emphasis placed on EHDI reauthorization and its implications for how state programs are carried out.
