Conference Registration

Register for the AUCD 2013 Conference November 17-20th: "Promoting Inclusion in an Increasingly Diverse World", where you have the opportunity to hear from our nation's leaders in compelling plenary sessions, explore current issues in pre-conference in-depth workshops, select from 40 concurrent sessions by noted leaders in the AUCD and partner networks, view over 100 posters on a wide range of disability issues, and network with over 600 of your peers.

Cost: Full Conference $460 for Center staff / $260 for trainees and self-advocates; $230 daily for staff / $150 trainees and self-advocates / $0 for Federal employees. Some events require an additional cost.

Discount: For member LEND, UCEDD, and IDDRC program personnel and trainees, after the first five registrations (regardless of when and how they're registered), the sixth and subsequent will automatically receive a 20% discount off of the main registration fee.

Deadline: Early Birds before October 18; November 1, 2013.

 


PSE Registration

Register to be in Washington, DC, on November 16th to connect with others interested in postsecondary education options for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Share lessons learned and strategies that work to improve outcomes for youth with intellectual disabilities, attend a fun networking reception, and connect and share with leaders in the field. Stay on November 17th for a half day intensive workshop on innovative student supports, presented by experts in the field of universal design for learning and mobile technologies that support student learning.

Cost: $190 for Saturday and Sunday events; $150 for Saturday only, $50 for Sunday only.

Deadline: Early Birds before October 18; November 1, 2013.

 


Retirement Registration

Join friends and colleagues in an 'Out of this World' Event to Roast George Jesien, Retiring Executive Director of AUCD. We will help George remember the good times, the bad times, and all others in between as well as honor and celebrate his contributions to the network and disability field. Table sponsorship and individual ticket prices options are now available, and a portion of the proceeds from each sponsorship will go to the newly created AUCD Emerging Leader Scholarship Fund which honors George's committment to increasing leadership in the disability field.

Cost: Several sponsorship and ticket levels are available.

Deadline: Early Birds before October 18; November 1, 2013.

 

 


 

2013 Registration & Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations and refund requests for any and all of the above events received on or before November 1, 2013 are subject to a $90 processing fee. No refunds will be provided after November 1, 2013. All refunds will be processed after the Conference. All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and may be mailed to AUCD, Attn: Gwendolyn Clark, 1100 Wayne Ave, Suite 1000, Silver Spring, MD 20910, faxed to 301-588-2842 or emailed to gclark@aucd.org. No phone cancellations will be accepted.
