Description

It has been well established that children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often have selective eating behaviors which may potentially lead to nutritional deficit, poor cognitive development, learning and behavioral difficulty. This poster presents a snack time intervention approach in which preschools may incorporate play-based, child-centered snack time to improve social engagement and eating behaviors for children with ASD utilizing a multiple baseline design.
