Description
This poster compares services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) living in rural vs. non-rural communities. Using a large-scale, statewide survey of 14 services, families reported problems in finding parent workshops and accessing behavior support services. Compared to SLPs, BCBAs were less often located in rural (versus non-rural) counties. Parents reported driving further and were less satisfied with the effectiveness of behavioral services they received.Back to Session: Welcome Reception and Poster Session
