Dana Kim is the Program Manager for the Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health (AIR-P). Her responsibilities include connecting with stakeholders across the AIR-P and AUCD networks to lead event planning and maintain engagement from AIR-P's Collaborating Research Entities (CREs). She provides administrative and logistical support to AIR-P to coordinate the daily activities of the project. Her work supports the project's mission to improve the quality of life and well-being for autistic individuals across the lifespan.

Dana graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, minoring in Sociology. She was an active member of the Asian American community at UVA and volunteered at a mental health crisis hotline and youth mentorship program. Toward the end of her undergraduate career, she conducted a research project to investigate how UVA students of color perceive and experience locally available mental health services. Through her various experiences, she discovered her passion for helping others improve their daily lives.

Prior to joining AUCD, Dana worked at a therapeutic boarding school as a residential instructor. In this role, she built therapeutic relationships with students with autism, ADHD, mood dysregulation disorders, and other social/emotional challenges. She implemented behavioral interventions according to clinical recommendations and Individualized Education Programs (IEP) to teach social skills and emotional regulation.
