Margaux Whitehead

Margaux Whitehead is a Program Specialist on the UCEDD Resource Center technical assistance team. Her responsibilities include program evaluation and direct technical support to UCEDD’s across the national network.

Margaux holds a bachelor’s degree in public health and social work from Loyola University Chicago. Throughout her time at college, Margaux worked as an EMT in the cities of Chicago and Newark, which sparked her passion for health equity. While at Loyola Chicago, she founded multiple public health-oriented student organizations to connect students and changemakers in the Chicagoland area to community support projects, which included management of an anti-vaping campaign on behalf of the American Heart Association in Maywood, IL. Prior to joining AUCD, she was involved in community engagement research with Loyola’s COVID Equity Response Collaborative. Her internship at Congresswoman Lauren Underwood’s district office in West Chicago inspired her interest in public health and community engagement, and subsequently led her to multiple issue-based advocacy internships
