Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Project Intern
Morelia Torres is a 2022 Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Project Intern.
As an undergrad, she pursued a bachelor's in Public Health while minoring in Sociology. She is currently working on getting her master's in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Behavior and a certificate in Maternal and Childhood Health. She previously worked as a contact tracer; and as an administrative assistant at a COVID-19 vaccination clinic where she engages with vulnerable populations, promoting outreach within the Public Health sector. She served as a grad research assistant for the Maternal and Child Health Graduate Research Assistant at Center for Leadership in Disability.
