Emily Cheng, MPH, is the Evaluation Project Specialist for the Act Early Response to COVID-19 project under AUCD's Public Health Team. She supports and conducts various aspects of evaluation activities for the project. 

Emily has experience working in both public and private sectors. She worked at the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Taiwan for two and a half years where she assisted in global health project evaluations and handled governmental administrative tasks. She also co-founded an NGO that focuses on health education/health policy and uses innovative strategies to communicate health-related knowledge to the public. 

Emily holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Global Health from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She interned at the Duke Center for Child and Family Policy during her master's program and conducted research related to parenting and adolescent healthy behaviors. She is passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents.
