Program Specialist. She's been a self-advocate and has worked in the self -advocacy movement for 20 yrs. Sherice began her career as an Independent Living Specialist at a Center for Independent Living in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she worked for 10 years. She moved on to advocate, educate and enroll minorities into the Affordable Care Act insurance before making the move to Partners for Inclusive Communities, University of Arkansas Fayetteville. She works so she has well as her brothers and sisters in the disability community can have the most inclusive life possible.

Sherice Smith is the Membership and Marketing Manager at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities where she will lead the charge of getting more people with disabilities vaccinated.  Utilizing two decades of experience in disability and non-profit organizations, Sherice hopes to elevate AUCD's brand and bring it to AUCD to the forefront of everybody's mind when they think of disability, public health and inclusion. 

Sherice earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Human Resource Administration from Antioch University in Yellow Springs, OH
