Aryana Jones serves as the Communications Assistant at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). She works directly with AUCD's Resource and Dissemination Manager, Anna Costalas, to create communication materials for newsletters and social media. She also works with the Director of Public Policy, Rylin Rodgers, and Senior Advocacy Specialist, Liz Weintraub, to produce and edit the YouTube web series Tuesday with Liz.

Aryana graduated Towson University with degrees in Political Science and Mass Communications only a few months before starting this position. In college, she was the Fundraising Chair and Video Editor for The Lunch Table Blog Show, an on-campus organization. During her college career she worked with Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) as the Office Manager for the Summer School Programs. As well, she worked with Döner Brös as the Shift Lead and Social Media/ Digital Marketing Intern. 

Her interests include:

  • Playing with her dog Prince
  • Spending time with family and friends
  • Spreading awareness about issues in the Black community
