Harpur Schwartz is the Act Early/COVID-19 Program Specialist for AUCD's public health team. She provides support on all activities related to the Act Early Initiative response to COVID-19.
Harpur received her Master of Science in Public Health in Health Education and Health Communication with certificates in Adolescent Health, Health Education, and Maternal and Child Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist and a Certified Lactation Counselor and holds a BA in Economics and Self-Designed Global Health from Connecticut College. Harpur previously worked at the National Institute for Health Care Management (NICHM) Foundation and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) where she served as a Maternal and Child Health Analyst. She also spent time conducting research at CNN in the medical unit for Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Harpur is passionate about health education and is dedicated to improving health and well-being through the successful communication of health information.
