Luanjiao Aggie Hu

Luanjiao Aggie Hu is a doctoral student at the University of Maryland, with a focus on disability, gender, and education. She identifies as a person with disability herself. She has conducted research and published on disability issues and had been teaching sessions in a core course on disability education. Luanjiao Aggie frequently shares her research on disabilities as a guest speaker at universities across the United States and China. She was awarded the Asia Development Fellowship with the Asia Foundation in 2018 and the Disability Research Consortium Summer Fellowship with Mathematica Policy Research in 2017. In 2015, she gave a talk on disability and education at a TEDx Maryland conference. Luanjiao Aggie is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in International Education Policy at the University of Maryland, from where she holds a master's degree in the same field. She completed her undergraduate studies at Xi'an International Studies University from China.
