Corina joined the AUCD staff as Meetings Assistant  in June 2009, following an eight month part-time internship with the Association. In 2010, Corina entered a new role and began working extensively with the NIRS database. Currently, Corina is the lead AUCD contact for the NIRS database, responding to requests for technical assistance from network members. She also tests the system prior to deploying changes, distributes relevant materials and information to NIRS users, and provides training and TA for data collection and reporting for all Programs that use NIRS, all of these targeted to the particular needs of each type of Program.

Prior to joining AUCD, Corina worked as Event Operations Supervisor at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC, and was also a Graduate Assistant in the Tourism Department of George Washington University.

Corina earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania, and a Master of Tourism Administration at George Washington University.
